1989 Started his career as in charge of facilities maintenance at Tanegashima Space Center of National Space Development Agency of Japan, NASDA (predecessor of JAXA)
1991　Worked for development of Japan Exploration Module (Kibo), which is one of composed modules of International Space Station, at the Group of the ISS in NASDA.
2018　 Assigned as the Program Manager of International Space Station
2020 　Assigned as the Director of JAXA Space Exploration Center (JSEC)
2021 Assigned as the Program Manager of Gateway in addition to the Director of JSEC
2023 Assigned as the Technological Director for Space Exploration
