Laure BOYER studied aerospace engineering in ISAE (Toulouse, FRANCE) and got a master’s degree as part of a double degree exchange program with Université de Sherbrooke, CANADA.
She completed a Doctorate in biomedical engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada, where she studied biomechanics in CHU Sainte-Justine research center.
In 2018, she integrated MEDES, the Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology. She worked as a payload operation engineer at the CNES control center (CADMOS) for life science experiments on-board the ISS. Since 2021, she is responsible for the development of R&D projects and technological innovations for health and performance of astronauts on future Lunar and Martian bases at the SPACESHIP FR project.
