Today’s International Space trends

As a Japanese national R&D agency, JAXA works in partnership with national space agencies around the world. The JAXA International Relations and Research Department (IRRD) acts as a contact point with space agencies in various countries. In addition, IRRD has liaison offices in the U.S., Europe, Asia, etc., and collects first-hand local information on space development trends in each country.
 In this session, in addition to Mr. SATOH Toshiaki, JAXA's Vice President in charge of international affairs, several frontline staffs who are responsible for coordinating with world’s national space agencies will take the stage to discuss the latest trends in space development around the world, and how recent space-related news are linked to JAXA.
